AbsInt Angewandte Informatik GmbH provides advanced development tools for embedded systems, and tools for validation and verification of safety-critical software. AbsInt’s key products are:
aiT Worst-Case Execution Time Analyzer, a software tool for verifying the correct timing behavior of embedded applications. aiT statically computes tight bounds for the worst-case execution time of the tasks in a system, fully taking cache and pipeline effects into account. The results are valid for all inputs and each execution of a task. aiT thus ensures that embedded software programs always react fast enough.
StackAnalyzer, a tool for automatically determining the worst-case stack usage of the tasks in embedded applications. The analysis results are shown as annotations in the application's call graph and control flow graph, enabling critical program sections to be easily identified. With StackAnalyzer, runtime errors due to stack overflow are a thing of the past.
aiPop, a code optimization suite which automatically reduces the code size, improves the code quality, and, optionally, speeds up the execution of assembly or object files for embedded processors.
Founded in 1998, AbsInt is a privately-held company located in Saarbruecken, Germany.
